It is a chemical exfoliation of the upper layers of your skin. Our physician strength, triple SLC peel uses 3 types of active agents: alpha (Salicylic) & beta (Lactic) hydoxy acids, plus L-Ascorbic acid (Vitamin-C). This reveals the fresh skin underneath.
What is a chemical peel like?
After cleaning & prepping your skin the esthetician 1st applies high potency, 20% Ascorbic acid, vitamin-C, a powerful anti-oxidant and collagen stimulating agent to your skin. Then we systematically apply the salicylic & finally the lactic acids to exfoliate the area. It is the combination of these 3 agents that surpasses skin peels performed with a single agent, like glycolic skin peels. We conclude with our soothing & protective recovery cream.
Is a chemical peel painful?
You’ll experience minimal discomfort, though tingling is common.
No anesthesia is necessary.
Do I need recovery time?
Our facial peels have no downtime. Afterward, you might notice a slight flushing, like after exercising, which is typical for a few hours. Tingling is common for a day or two. Flaking for a few days can occur and is best managed with our moisturizers.
When will I start to see results?
In just a few days you’ll notice brighter skin tone and smoother texture. brown spots, acne scars, fine lines, & stretch-marks will lessen gradually with a series of performance peels.
How long do the effects last?
